Warangal: Open Text Software Company, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organisation, has pledged to adopt four villages in Mulugu district as part of the ‘One Corporate-One Village’ initiative, announced its managing director Manoj Nagpal on Monday.
The initiative, launched by Nirmaan alongside the Government of Telangana, aims to drive grassroots development across rural Telangana. Open Text signed a MoU with Nirmaan to support the villages of Chandru Thanda, LB Nagar, Kodishalakunta, and Jagannapet.
With an investment of Rs 1 crore, the project will undertake various developmental activities, including constructing Anganwadi centres, installing solar lighting systems, providing water tanks and borewells, repairing schools, organising health camps, and distributing bicycles to students. These efforts are expected to benefit over 5,000 people, particularly from Vulnerable Tribal Groups (VTG) and tribal communities.
