Oppn facing identity crisis: Sridhar Babu
Warangal:Leaders of opposition parties are not only misleading people but also provoke them against the government, alleged IT minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Saturday. The Congress government was striving to provide all kinds of facilities to people. However, if one out of 100 was left out, the Opposition was making a huge fuss over it, he added.
Accompanied by MP Kadiam Kavya, MLAs Revuri Prakash Reddy, Naini Rajendar Reddy, K.R. Nagaraju, mayor Gundu Sudharani, KUDA chairman Enagala Venkatram Reddy, collector Satya Sharada and municipal commissioner Ashwini Tanaji, the minister inaugurated the `50-lakh Vipra Brahmana community hall at Gorrekunta in Warangal.
Sridhar Babu said the government sanctioned 3,500 Indiramma houses to poor families in each constituency to mark the one year completion of Praja Palana by the Congress.
The Congress fulfilled the Six Guarantees it had given to people before Assembly elections. In some places due to lack of linkage of Aadhaar card, some beneficiaries have not got subsidies on gas cylinders. The district administration must take necessary steps to ensure welfare schemes reach every beneficiary, he said.
Many members of the Brahmana community face hardships. The government is committed to uplifting these people. The government sanctioned a community hall for the Brahmana community, he said.
