Hyderabad: For the first time in its history, Osmania University has appointed a woman as joint registrar in the administration department. Y Neeraja, previously deputy registrar in the Pre-Audit Section, has been promoted to the role.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Kumar Molugaram handed over orders appointing several senior officials to administrative roles.
Among them, P.V. Somayajulu will be deputy registrar, M. Srinivas in-charge finance officer, V. Narsing Rao assistant registrar at the University College of Commerce and Business Management and P. Sreenanath has been posted as assistant registrar at the University College of Arts and Social Sciences.
