Osmannagar Residents Protest Delays in Road Construction
Hyderabad: Residents of Osmannagar, along with members of the Tellapur Neighborhood Association (TeNA) comprising over 50 gated communities, held a protest on Saturday, demanding that work on the ‘missing link corridor’ No. 152 be speeded up.
Work on this 3-km road has been on since two years but has not been completed.
The road is in bad shape with potholes and an uneven surface, and the passage of heavy vehicles is further deteriorating its condition.
“Around 5,000 people living in the communities and surrounding areas are being affected adversely due to the pathetic condition of the road,” said Ramana Eshwaragari, TeNA president. “In addition to vehicles being damaged, many motorists are experiencing back pain and issues related to spine.”
