Over 3,000 people availed Bathini fish prasadam at gurudwara in Afzalgunj
Hyderabad: The environs of Afzalgunj and its surroundings came alive on Saturday with hundreds of people thronging a gurudwara to avail fish prasadam.
The fish prasadam was administered by a few family members of Bathini Harinath Goud. The same family administered fish prasad to thousands of people suffering from asthma at Exhibition Ground in Nampally on Saturday.
Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Prabandhak Committee vice-president S Nirmal Singh Bagga said the family administered prasadam to as many as 3,000 people, who came to gurudwara from different parts of the country and also from the city.
“As people started arriving at gurudwara from Thursday, we made all arrangements to them right from providing accommodation to food,” he explained, adding that over 3,000 people took prasadam in Afzalgunj. With the help of committee members and volunteers, a large number of people took fish prasadam at gurudwara.
The committee thanked the Bathini family for giving fish prasadam to asthma patients and helping them to cure their health problems.
