Nizamabad: A Dikshant Parade (passing out parade) for newly recruited police constables was held at the Telangana State Special Police 7th Battalion in Dichpally on Friday. In-charge commissioner of police Ch. Sindhu Sharma attended the programme as the chief guest. A total of 463 stipendiary constables from the 14th batch successfully completed their nine-month training at Dichpally.
Speaking on the occasion, Sindhu Sharma emphasised that police constables must perform their duties with fairness. She stated that discrimination on any grounds is unacceptable and that all individuals are equal while discharging their responsibilities. She also commended the top-performing constables for their merit during the training programme. Present at the event were 7th Battalion Commandant P. Satyanarayana and other distinguished guests.
