Police Arrest 3 Interstate Offenders, Seize 57 Grams Gold

Task Force and Chatrinaka Police seize 57 grams of gold worth Rs 4.85 lakh; accused linked to 22 cases.

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, south zone team, along with Chatrinaka police arrested three interstate offenders involved in attention diversion and seized 57 grams of gold worth Rs 4.85 lakhs.

The trio who were arrested red-handed while stealing gold ornaments from a victim in Chatrinaka police station limits on Tuesday are involved in 22 attention diversion cases in tri-commissioners, police said. Total recovered 57 Grams of Gold ornaments at the instance of the accused.

Accused identified as Mohammed Sattar Ali alias Sattar alias Langada (45) resident of Metpally, Jagityal district and native of Bihar, Md Amir (38) of Bihar residing in Metpally Jagityal district and Md Riyaz Malik (42) native of West Bengal.

Police seized gold ornaments and three mobile phones from the accused and produced them before the court for judicial remand, Ande Srinivasa Rao, additional DCP task force stated in a press release.
