Police Bans People’s Entry in Kancha Gachibowli

The order prohibits people who do not ordinarily have work in the area from entering the limits of the areas specified other than their bonafide work.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Friday prohibited people from entering the Kancha Gachibowli land, following a stay order given by the Supreme Court.

In view of the Supreme Court's orders and the directions of the central empowered committee and the prevailing law and order situation, with an intention to prevent danger to human life and safety, Madhapur DCP Dr Vineeth G., imposed Section 163 of BNSS.

The order prohibits people who do not ordinarily have work in the area from entering the limits of the areas specified other than their bonafide work.

The order will be in force from 6 pm from April 4 till April 16, in 400 acres which is the subject matter of WP(PIL) No.30/2025 and 27/2025 in the Telangana High Court and Suo Moto WP (Civil) No.03/2025 in the Supreme Court in Survey No. 25, Kancha Gachibowli.

The police informed the public that any person violating these orders will be liable for prosecution on the provision of law. Speaking of the machinery that was placed on the land, Gachibowli Inspector Mohd Habubullah Khan said, “All the JCBs except for the ones that were destroyed by the students were removed last evening.”
