Hyderabad: Osmania University police detained BRS student leaders who protested demanding the state government to fulfil the promise of two lakh jobs for the unemployed. The student representatives — Jangaiah, Abhilash, Nagender along with others - were detained and released later, said the police.
Students said that the government was a burden. “It has been more than a year after the government came into power and the unemployment issues were not addressed. The promise to distribute scooters to female students was forgotten. Our movement will not stop if we are questioned,” they added.
