Police Dog Sniffs Out 4 kg Ganja at Kazipet Railway Station

WARANGAL: In a significant drug bust, a police dog stationed at the Kazipet railway station on Tuesday uncovered 4 kilograms of ganja hidden in a bag at a platform here in Hanamkonda.
Receiving a tip-off about transportation of ganja through the railway station, the anti-drug control team along with their dog and Kazipet police launched a search operation at the railway station premises.
The police dog alerted a suspicious bag hidden at the end of the platform. Upon opening the bag, the police team discovered 4 kilograms of ganja stashed inside.
The police registered a case and started an investigation by observing the CCTV cameras at the railway station.
The search team consisted of police inspector Suresh, assistant sub-inspector Shivakeshavulu, head constables
Poornachandra, Manoj and Nagaraju.
