Hyderabad: The police foiled a suicide attempt by a woman at the MMTS railway station in Ferozguda on Thursday and counseled her before handing her over to the family members.
The woman identified as Mangamma, 45, a resident of Raju Colony in Balanagar, was fed up with the family issues and sat on the railway tracks at the MMTS railway station in Ferozguda. On seeing her, passengers alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and foiled her attempt.
The police counseled Mangamma and handed her over to the family members asking them to take care of her.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
