Police raid Babylon pub in Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad: The police on Wednesday raided Babylon pub in Jubilee Hills as the sound system of the pub was set at a high decibel violating rules. The audio system was seized and a case registered against the management.

Meanwhile, the TGNAB teams also conducted patrolling on the roads in Jubilee Hills and other areas. Drug tests were also conducted on party-goers and commuters. Those who did not cooperate were detained.

16 government teachers removed from service in Yadadri-Bhongir


Yadadri-Bhongir: Sixteen government teachers were removed from service by district authorities for being absent from duty without prior permission since 2005.

In separate orders issued by District Education Officer (DEO) K. Satyanarayana, it was stated that showcause notices had been served to the teachers, but no explanations were received within the stipulated time. As a result, charges were framed against them.

The DEO noted that the teachers were deemed unfit to continue in service, leading to the decision to impose the punishment of removal from service.
