Police Solve Missing Boy Case Within 48 Hours
Karimnagar:The Intejargunz police have successfully solved the case of a missing baby boy within 48 hours, apprehending the woman responsible for the abduction in Hanamkonda on Monday.
Intejargunz sub-inspector B. Venkanna told the media that the suspect, identified as J. Sunitha alias Nirmala, a 40-year-old resident of Adilabad district and originally from Nanded district in Maharashtra, had been living alone after separating from her husband. Fearing a future of solitude, she devised a plan to abduct a baby.
Sunitha made contact with Rajesh and Bhima Bai, who had recently delivered a premature baby boy at the Mancherial Government Hospital. She convinced them that she could provide better medical care for their child. She initially took them to MGM Hospital before transferring them to Chanda Kanthaiah Memorial (CKM) Hospital in Deshaipet, Warangal, where she abducted the baby and fled.
Following a complaint from Rajesh, the police quickly launched an investigation and resolved the case within two days. Police commissioner Ambar Kishor Jha commended the officers for their swift resolution of the case.
