Hyderabad: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar held an inter-departmental coordination meeting on Saturday to review the arrangements for the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Hyderabad commissioner Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, additional CP of law and order Vikram Singh Mann, additional CP of traffic P. Viswa Prasad, HMDA commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed, GHMC commissioner Amrapali Kata, Hyderabad collector Anudeep Durishetty and other officials participated in the meeting.
The minister informed the officials that the government gave top priority to the festival and urged them to make elaborate arrangements to ensure the devotees would have no trouble or inconvenience during the festivities. He also instructed all the officials to complete the preparations across the city before the specified date and emphasised cooperation among various departments for the effective execution of plans.
