Ponnam reviews projects in Siddipet, Karimnagar, Hanamkonda

KARIMNAGAR: Minister for Transport and BC Welfare, Ponnam Prabhakar, led a review meeting at the Collectorate in Siddipet with senior officials from Siddipet, Karimnagar, and Hanamkonda. Key discussion points included ensuring transparency in the Indiramma Housing schemes, streamlining paddy procurement during harvest, and taking steps to mitigate summer water shortages by installing temporary borewells and pipelines.
The minister announced a Rs 20 lakh allocation for a pipeline project in Damara village and inaugurated a new community hall in Husnabad, built with a Rs 45 lakh government grant. He also participated in a safety kit distribution event for backward classes and highlighted plans to plant 40 lakh toddy palm saplings across Telangana by June.
Additionally, he attended a 50th-anniversary alumni meet of a local government school, urging continued support for its ongoing improvements.
