Prof Kodandaram Meets GHMC Commissioner, Pushes for Better Safety Measures for Workers

Hyderabad: Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) president Prof. M. Kodandaram met GHMC commissioner Amrapali Kata during the corporation’s weekly Prajavani programme to resolve public grievances, and appealed that issues related to the transportation and sanitation wings be addressed.

The TJS president along with some workers of both these wings gave a representation to commissioner Kata. Prof. Kodandaram urged that the transportation wing workers should not be deployed as security personnel at lakes. He also sought safety gear for sanitation workers including boots, face masks, gloves, soaps, and coconut oil.
