HYDERABAD: The Cyberabad Police have inaugurated project P.R.O.T.E.C.T (Preventing Risks Online Through Education, Collaboration, and Training) within the Cyberabad commissionerate to promote online safety and awareness.
Volunteers conducted awareness campaigns across key areas such as Madhapur, KPHB, Lanco Hills, Kukatpally, and Gachibowli grounds, engaging lakhs of people through placards, street plays, and essay competitions. These initiatives were led by police officials, including ACP-level officers from the respective divisions.
During the launch, police commissioner Avinash Mohanty and joint commissioner Joel Davis presented prizes to the winners of the essay writing competition at the commissionerate office in Gachibowli on Wednesday.
