Rahul Defaming India Abroad: Bandi Sanjay
Hyderabad: Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay Kumar accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of defaming the country on foreign soil by criticising the country’s electoral system. He averred the BJP would win the mayoral seat in the GHMC elections despite a possible alliance between the Congress, BRS and the AIMIM.
Addressing a party membership registration event in Serilingampally, he said, “Though Revanth Reddy wanted to imprison the KCR's family after coming to power, the latter went to Delhi and struck deals with Congress leaders tying up the CM's hands. If BJP comes to power, KCR will be dealt with sternly for his wrongdoings. The party is transparent in its membership process. BJP will romp home to power by 2028. The party will defeat the designs of the Congress, BRS and AIMIM.”
At the BJP event conducted in Gachibowli in Serilingampally constituency, Sanjay Kumar was joined by Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Rangareddy urban district president Sama Ranga Reddy and Kuna Ravi Kumar, among others. The minister said the BJP is the only party conducting the membership registration drive transparently without offering insurance or other incentives and workers who register the highest will be honoured.
Commenting about the other parties, the minister opined that the AIMIM switches loyalties and public opposition to the Congress and BRS is growing. “It wouldn’t be surprising if these three parties contest the upcoming elections together. BJP will not only fight but also win the GHMC. Congress and BRS are hand in glove with each other and action against KCR’s family is being delayed. While they are family and dynastic parties limited to states and regions, BJP is a party built on nationalistic ideals and the sacrifices of its workers.”
He praised the BJP’s work for the poor and its leaders like Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and Syama Prasad Mukherjee, who contributed to the nation’s progress. He said the BJP, with its 18 crore members, emerged as the largest political party in the world, surpassing China’s communist party in membership.
