Among the achievements, Rahul Gandhi highlighted was the Rs 18,000 crore crop loan waiver scheme, which has benefited 23 lakh farmers by waiving loans up to Rs 2 lakh each. This scheme, implemented within just eight months of taking office, has provided much-needed financial relief to Telangana's agricultural sector.
Additionally, Rahul Gandhi expressed satisfaction with the state’s ambitious housing project under Revanth Reddy’s government, which plans to construct 20 lakh Indiramma Houses for economically disadvantaged families over the next four years, including 4 lakh houses within this year alone.
Sources indicated that Rahul Gandhi’s visit and his positive feedback have significantly boosted the morale of the Congress government, leaders and grassroots workers in Telangana, further strengthening the party’s momentum as it continues implementing its promises. Party leaders expressed confidence that Rahul’s encouragement will enhance the Congress government’s efforts to fulfil its development commitments amid financial challenges.
