Hyderabad: The south zone task force along with civil supply officials and the Chandrayangutta police on Saturday arrested three persons during a raid on a godown in Ghazi Millat Colony, and seized 14 quintals of rice and 15 quintals of wheat, both meant for the public distribution system (PDS) worth Rs 3.25 lakh.
Police arrested Mohd Rizwan, V. Rajnikanth and V. Rajeshwar of Uppuguda while Fathe, Kiran, Faqru and Sai are absconding. They paid ration shop customers for the foodgrains, which they sold at higher prices.
