Railways Add Eight Coaches to Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express
Hyderabad: The railways on Saturday announced the addition of eight coaches to the Vande Bharat Express train that leaves Secunderabad for Visakhapatnam in the morning, from January 13.
With the new addition, Trains 20707 / 20708 will run with 16 coaches. A statement said that the occupancy on the trains hovered at about 150 per cent, necessitating its augmentation.
In its new composition, Trains 20707/20708 will have 14 Chair Cars with 1,024 seats and two Executive Class coaches seating 104.
Train 20707 leaves Secunderabad at 5.05 am and reaches Visakhapatnam at 1.50 pm. In the return direction, the train leaves the port city at 2.30 pm and reaches Secunderabad at 11.25 pm.
On Friday, the railways had announced the augmentation of four bogies on Trains 20833/20834 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express, leaving the port city in the morning. These trains will have 20 coaches.
