Hyderabad:A structure belonging to Raj Pakala, brother-in-law of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao is illegal, it was revealed in an RTI reply. This is the same structure that was recently in the news with cops seizing foreign liquor from there.
The authorities declared the structure as illegal way back in 2022 and also served notices to the structure falling in survey number 691 of Janwada gram panchayat (GP).
Notices to these structures were issued in July 2022, January 2023 and February 2023. However, there has been no reply to these notices.
Meanwhile, this is not the same structure that is also known as ‘KTR’s farmhouse’ located in Mirzaguda, Shankarpally Road (Janwada). Related to this particular structure in Mirzaguda, a city realtor Pradeep Reddy claimed in the Telagana High Court that it belongs to him.
However, pertaining to the structure that has been served with notices thrice falling under Survey No. 691 of Janwada GP, Rama Rao had earlier stated that the structure was not a farmhouse but the residence of his brother-in-law Raj Pakala. He had also mentioned thatPakala used to stay in a gated community in Hyderabad and had recently built a house in Reserve colony in Janwada and had shifted there.
