Hyderabad: Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bolaram will remain closed to the public from December 10 to 23, for the visit of President Droupadi Murmu’s southern sojourn. The closure is being implemented to ensure security and procedural protocols during the President’s stay, officials from Rashtrapati Nilayam announced.
In collaboration with the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB), necessary arrangements including sanitation and maintenance will be carried out carefully to maintain the premises cleanliness and safety standards. An official stated, “We are ensuring that all sanitation and cleaning protocols are strictly followed to maintain the property.”
Public visits to the historic premises will resume from December 24. Visitors who had planned to tour the property during the closure are advised to reschedule their visits after the specified period. Tickets for visits starting December 24 can be booked online.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
