Hyderabad: Amid the controversy over animal fat in ghee supplied for making Srivari laddus, the Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Federation (TGSDDCF), Vijaya Dairy, has offered to supply quality dairy ghee and other products in sufficient quantities for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
In a letter to TTD executive officer J. Shyamala Rao on Saturday, dairy development principal secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh said Vijaya Dairy was well-known for its milk and dairy products. " Vijaya Dairy has a history of supplying quality products and supporting the livelihoods of lakhs of dairy farmers. Vijaya Dairy ensures quality in its products and will meet the requirements of high-quality ghee and other dairy products for TTD," he informed.
Being a government entity, Vijaya Dairy maintains transparency in supply, quality and pricing, noted Ghosh urging the TTD to give an opportunity to Vijaya Dairy to serve the Devasthanam and devotees and expressed readiness to meet the requirements of the TTD.
