Residents register protest for cheating and selling plots in Ambedkar Lake
Hyderabad: Residents of Ambedkarnagar here on Thursday grilled a person for allegedly cheating them and selling plots in Ambedkar Lake by taking bribe. Irate residents registered their protest seeking justice to them.
With HYDRAA cracking the whip on the illegal structures in the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zone, the residents, mostly women got panicked and grilled the person for causing them grave injustice to them by selling plots in the open place in the lake.
“What will be our fate if HYDRAA initiates action against the plots near the lake?” the residents asked, stating that they were really worried over the situation as they purchased the plots with their hard earned money. Responding to the residents concern, the plot seller tried to convince them saying that he would speak to officials and try to resolve the issue. However, the residents said they were not convinced saying that the HYDRAA intensified its drive and cracking the whip on the illegal structures in the lakes and other water bodies.
