Revanth Leaves for Delhi for Key Discussion

TPCC revamp, new AICC incharge, nominated post on the CM’s agenda

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday evening left for Delhi, reportedly to discuss key matters related to the party with the central leadership. He is expected to stay in Delhi for two days.

According to sources, Revanth Reddy’s trip is primarily aimed at discussing issues related to revamping the TPCC, selecting candidates for nominated government posts, and finalising the list of candidates for the MLC seats under the MLAs’ quota.

It is also believed that Revanth Reddy will meet with top leaders, including AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi, to discuss strategies for strengthening the Congress in Telangana and the initiatives undertaken by the Congress government in the state.

The Chief Minister is also expected to meet a few Union ministers to submit representations related to pending projects and the allocation of funds for key initiatives in Telangana.

The timing of Revanth Reddy's visit holds particular significance following the appointment of former MP Meenakshi Natarajan as AICC Telangana affairs incharge.

Speculation is also rife that the AICC high command is planning to appoint four new working presidents for the TPCC as part of an ongoing revamp ahead of crucial local body elections.
