Revanth Reddy orders strict action against homicide, heinous crimes
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had reacted seriously over Guvvala Sanjeev incident in Narayanpet district.
Sanjeev was thrashed to death in broad daylight in Utkoor mandal. He warned that people resorting to physical attacks and unleashing terror in the society will not be tolerated, irrespective of their social status.
The CM directed the officials to take immediate action against police officers of Utkoor mandal, if they were found to be lackadaisical with regard to the incident.
He directed the DGP to take stringent action against the guilty in connection with the Utkoor incident and also ensure that such incidents do not recur.
Similarly, Revanth Reddy condemned the sexual assault on a six-year-old girl in Peddapalli district.
He directed the officials to file a case under the POCSO Act and provide necessary assistance to the victim's family. He assured the victim's family that justice would be done to them.
