Revanth Reddy slams KCR for handing over Dharani data to criminal company
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Friday criticized the former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) for handing over the crucial data of Dharani portal to a criminal company.
In spite of CAG raising serious objections, KCR handed over the data to that company, he said during a debate on Bhubharathi Bill replacing Dharani portal in the Assembly here. The CAG had clearly informed the State government that the portal has several errors.
Dharani tenders were allocated to persons who have association with former Satyam Computer Services Chairman B Ramalinga Raju arrested in a scam. Those who got Dharani tenders, were close to KCR’s son KT Rama Rao (KTR), who is also BRS working president.
The State government was bringing Bhubharathi Bill replacing Dharani portal and the new facility would have the details of as many as 52 lakh acres of land across the State ensuring protection to the rights of every land owner.
He said the BRS MLAs hatched a plan to stall the proceedings in the Assembly at a time when a crucial discussion on Bhubharathi Bill was going on in the Assembly. Referring to the FIR issued against KTR, he said he was not sharing details in the House about the FIR as he would influence the investigation.
“If the Speaker permits, the State government will submit all the relevant documents before him for his kind perusal,” Revanth Reddy explained. On the SIT probe into the ORR lease, he said the investigation was ordered following a request from the former Minister and BRS MLA T Harish Rao.
“After ordering SIT probe on ORR lease as per request of Harish Rao, KCR might have taken a serious note of it and something might have happened. It’s natural and to overcome it Harish Rao created problems in the House,” he added.
