Telangana Must Become Destination for World, says Revanth Reddy
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Sunday said that Telangana must become an ideal destination for the world and Hyderabad should grow as the number one brand.
Speaking at the 10th anniversary celebrations of Telangana Formation Day organized at Parade Ground in Secunderabad, he said, “Everyone should think in the direction of making the State an ideal destination for the world.”
Stating that everyone’s support was needed for peoples’ government, Revanth Reddy said the blessings of the four crore people of Telangana was required along with the society, political, administrative, judiciary and media.
Explaining in detail the initiatives taken up by the Congress government after coming to power on December 7, 2023, he said the idea of peoples’ government was to put pressure on the Centre and get legitimate water shares in Krishna and Godavari Rivers quickly after resolving the issues thereby and implement various plans related to irrigation sectors efficiently.
“As joint capital of Hyderabad expired today, we will resolve the issues related to property sharing with Andhra Pradesh as soon as possible. Telangana should not compete with other States but with the world and for that we have to become stronger to spread our power to the world,” he said, adding that the State has the power, strength, intelligence and determination apart from the history of sacrifices.
Revanth Reddy said plans have been drawn up to prepare the “Green Telangana-2050” master plan, categorizing the State into three zones. “Crucial issues related to various infrastructure facilities to be created in a particular zone of the State will be incorporated in the master plan along with other development initiatives,” he said.
Revanth Reddy earlier reviewed the parade of various contingents of Telangana police, NCC cadets and students of residential welfare institutions.
