Adilabad: MLC K. Kavitha on Monday alleged that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is targeting her brother, K.T. Rama Rao and trying to send him to jail and recalled that the previous BRS government, led by former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, had granted pattas to 4.5 lakh acres that were being cultivated under ROFR.
Speaking to media in Indravelli after paying homage to local martyrs, Kavitha accused the Congress government of framing false cases against KTR and suppressing voices opposing injustices faced by farmers, women, and marginalised communities. She also alleged that the Congress cheated farmers through the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
Kavitha participated in a bike rally from Jangaon to Devuguda in the Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, accompanied by Boath MLA Anil Jadhav and Asifabad MLA Kova Laxmi. She donated Rs 2 lakh to a rape victim in Jainoor, consoled the family of Shailaja, a student who died of food poisoning in Wankidi, and attended the TBGKS meeting in Goleti.
