RPF rescues four children and reunited with family members in Secunderabad

On Monday, the RPF rescued three boys, aged between 10 and 12 years, after running away from the hostel without informing their parents at Karimnagar Railway Station and were sent to open shelter homes for further care and protection.

In another incident, a boy, aged about 14 years, who was separated from his brother-in-law, while boarding the train was rescued at Secunderabad railway station. Later, as per the orders of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), the boy was reunited with his brother-in-law under a clear acknowledgement.

In 2023, the RPF Secunderabad Division rescued a total of 354 children including 277 boys and 77 girls, all of whom were handed over to childline authorities for further care and protection. In the year 2024, it rescued a total of 247 children including 173 boys and 74 girls all of whom were handed over to childLine authorities for further care and protection.

The RPF Secunderabad division remains resolute in its commitment to enhancing the Operation Nanhe Fariste initiative and the initiative is further augment with the training of RPF personnel and strengthen partnerships with Child Line and other child welfare organizations, and implementing advanced tracking and identification systems.
