Hyderabad: Former IPS officer and BRS leader R.S. Praveen Kumar was trolled online for backing the party’s working president K.T. Rama Rao in his post on X on Thursday, saying that the latter had worked tirelessly to bring a prestigious event to India, to enhance the brand image of Hyderabad and Telangana globally.
In his post on X, in the midst of his questioning by the ACB, Rama Rao had averred that his agenda was to make Hyderabad a pivotal hub for sustainable mobility as the world transitions towards it.
Tagging an old video with the message ‘before he was paid’ in Telugu, Praveen Kumar was trolled as he was found saying, "Let KTR explain who owns the Phoenix building beside the Microsoft office in Wipro Circle in Gachibowli. It is a 20-storey building. KTR should explain the ownership of lands in this industrial corridor. Who owns lands in the area under GO 111? Of these which have been acquired and how much is government and privately owned.”
In his reply to Rama Rao’s post, R.S. Praveen Kumar said, “Truth is on your side. You planted a seed for Telangana Mobility Valley (TMV) which would have brought investment of millions of dollars and created thousands of jobs for Telangana youth. Revanth Reddy, drunk with revenge and infected with ignorance, is hell-bent on planting seeds for Telangana Robbery Valley (TRV) where the prosperity in Telangana can be plundered in broad daylight by his family and cronies. It’s an epic war between the truth and lies. It’s a fight between the vision and venom. History has always been on the side of truth.”
