Rs.50 Cr sanctioned for development works in Ponnam’s Husnabad constituency
Hyderabad: The State government here has accorded administrative sanction for 30 works including 13 gram panchayat, habitation road connectivity works and 17 bridges works worth Rs.50 crore under CRR grant for the financial year 2024-25 in Husnabad constituency represented by the BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.
An order to this effect was issued by the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development department. In the order, the department said the Engineer-in-Chief and engineers concerned of Panchayat Raj department should verify that the works which were not already sanctioned earlier, grounded, and semi-finished under any other grants.
Any discrepancy noticed should be brought to the notice of the government immediately. The instructions should be followed scrupulously. If such works as sanctioned in the order are already grounded etc., they should be deemed to have been cancelled automatically and the same shall be informed to the government immediately for taking further necessary action.
The works should be tendered and grounded only, if the amount now sanctioned is sufficient to complete it in full. The works would be taken up in Nagaram to Mahmadapoor, Thotapally to Poosavarlapally, Potlapally to Parvedha, Ammanagurthy to Vangara crossroads via Gundlapally, Kashaturka Colony and Damera to Kothapally among others.
