RSS Activists Must Fight against Social Evils in the Society, Says Retired High Court Judge a Venkateshwar Reddy
Hyderabad: Activists of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) must work against social evils in society, said former Telangana High Court judge Justice A. Venkateshwar Reddy (retired) on Saturday.
Speaking at the Telangana Siksha Vargha of RSS at Sri Vidya Vihar High School in Annojiguda, Justice Venkateshwar Reddy said the affiliates of RSS in legal, student and political circles had been working tirelessly for Hindu awareness. The RSS is now present in 140 countries and in 90 per cent of the area in the country.
The RSS’s Telangana pranta pracharak Prabhu Kumar said that RSS works for all-round growth of individuals for self-improvement in the broader context of nation-building and social progress. “By working to unite Hindu society, the RSS is working to revive the past glory of the country,” Prabhu Kumar said and added: “The aim of the Shiksha Vargha is to train the RSS activists to commit themselves for nation building.”
Charging that some agencies were working to disrupt national unity, Prabhu Kumar said that religious conversions by missionaries, love jihad and land jihad were part of this conspiracy. “There is a systematic attack taking place on Hindu religion in the name of communism and cultural communism and the RSS workers have the bigger responsibility of fighting against these evil forces,” he said.
RSS Telangana sangh chalak Barla Surender and over 1000 RSS workers from different parts of the state took part in the event.
