Saffron MPs Flay Revanth Reddy's Silence on BJP Office Attack
Hyderabad: BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy on Wednesday flayed the attack on the BJP office by Congress workers and asked while TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud condemned the incident why Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has not acted on it. He said the attack indicates a clear failure of the police machinery.
Addressing the media he said, "The Congress leaders only pay lip service to the Constitution by showing the book. But they resort to rowdyism. We adhere to the Constitution. The party’s ST morcha state president and other BJP leaders have been kept under house arrest."
Party MP Etala Rajendar also derided the attack, saying it happened despite the Chief Minister holding the home portfolio and having an experienced officer C. V. Anand as the commissioner.
The CM should explain if the attack is indicative of the intelligence failure or they allowed it to happen. He should remember that he cannot become a bigger leader by such attacks.
