Sajjanar Urges Students to Stay Alert against MBBS Seat Scammers

“If money is demanded in the name of providing MBBS seats, a complaint should be filed on Dial 100,” Sajjanar said

Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar has said that students should be vigilant against scammers who are promising to provide MBBS seats in the management quota at a low price even if they score low in NEET.

In the wake of the NEET UG exam, he appealed to students and their parents not to fall prey to the fraudsters’ false promises. Taking advantage of the respect that society has for the medical profession, middlemen are defrauding parents of lakhs of rupees.

According to Sajjanar, there are many incidents of people being cheated by such scammers. Even if they do not get a rank in NEET, they hope to complete their medical education at a low cost in countries like China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, and the Caribbean.

“One should be vigilant and not to fall prey to such scammers. If you want to study in any university, you should check on the official website whether it is recognized by the National Medical Commission (MNC) of the Central government or not.”

“If money is demanded in the name of seats, a complaint should be filed on Dial 100,” he said.
