Sandhya stampede: Sritej continues to maintain stable vital parameters
Hyderabad: KIMS hospital doctors on Tuesday informed that the nine-year-old boy Sritej continued to maintain stable vital parameters on own without any oxygen or ventilatory support.
Dr Chetan R Mundada and Dr Vishnu Tej Pudi, in a statement, said the boy’s sensorium was similar with spontaneous eye opening and spontaneous limb movements but there is still no meaningful eye contact or recognition of family members.
“The boy is waking on verbal stimulus but not following any oral commands. He has intermittent dystonic movements and stiffness in his limbs for which medicines are being given,” the doctors said, adding that the boy needs intermittent suctioning of the tracheostomy tube.
“Sritej is tolerating feeds via nasogastric tube well and is afbrile since last three days,” they added.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
