SBI opens 10 new branches in TG
The State Bank of India (SBI) has opened 10 new branches in Telangana, taking its total in the state to 1,206.
Hyderabad:The State Bank of India (SBI) has opened 10 new branches in Telangana, taking its total in the state to 1,206. SBI chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty virtually inaugurated the branches on Friday along with chief general manager Rajesh Kumar.
The new branches are located in both rural and urban areas, including Alampur crossroads, Chinnambavi, Raghavendra Colony (Kondapur), Neopolis, Kistareddypet (Patancheru), Khajaguda, Osmannagar, Kangti (Narayankhed), Suchitra Circle (Quthbullapur) and Nandipet.
Speaking at the event, Setty emphasised that customers remain the bank’s top priority and urged employees to focus on four key areas — customer service, business growth, sustainable development and employee welfare.
"If this is India's decade, it is SBI's decade too," Setty said, underscoring the bank’s role in the economic growth of the country. He highlighted that consistency, technology-driven productivity and resilience would help SBI achieve its goal of becoming India’s best and most valuable bank.
SBI has also gained global recognition, ranking fourth among the world's most trusted banks and being named "The Best Bank of India for 2024" by Global Finance Magazine.
