Scientific tools workshop held at St. Francis
Hyderabad:St Francis College for Women, Begumpet, Hyderabad, held a one-day national workshop on "Navigating Science Tools – A Hands-on Approach." The event focused on hands-on training for researchers and academicians in modern scientific tools and techniques. It was organised with support from DST WISE-KIRAN, CURIE and the Faculty Research Cell.
Principal Dr Uma Joseph emphasised the need to increase women's participation in science, while chief guest Dr Shailaja Raj encouraged collaboration and knowledge sharing. Workshop convenor Dr Usha Praveena hoped that the workshop would lead to further research opportunities. The event brought together experts and participants for discussions, practical sessions and networking. Vice principal Dr Sr Sherly attended the workshop.
