Hyderabad:The South Central Railways’ (SCR) new principal financial adviser S. Vivekanand assumed office on Wednesday. A 1989 batch Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer, Vivekanand brings extensive experience to the role.
His previous positions include principal financial adviser for South East Central Railway, director of finance and director of personnel at Singareni Collieries, and chairman of Andhra Pradesh Heavy Machinery and Engineering Limited (APHMEL).
In addition to his professional achievements, Vivekanand has a keen interest in travelling, reading, and golf. He also served as vice-president of the United A.P. Golf Association from 2006 to 2010.
