SCR Officials Told to Intensify Safety Checks, Improve Train Punctuality

Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Arun Kumar Jain directed officials to intensify field inspections, focusing on the availability and functioning of safety-related equipment in the signaling and engineering departments and station assets.

He instructed field staff to maintain all safety-related registers and follow the safe working practices. He also reviewed the availability of safety items such fire extinguishers and smoke detectors.

Jain further stressed on maintaining punctuality of trains and sought an action plan for the same.
