Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) on Tuesday conducted a detailed review meeting on safety of train operations and ongoing developmental works in the zone.
SCR general manager Arun Kumar Jain, heads of all departments and divisional railway managers (DRMs) of all six divisions were in attendance. Arun Kumar reviewed punctuality statistics and instructed the DRMs to identify late-running trains.
He directed that regular counselling sessions, along with practical demonstrations of safe working practices, should be provided to all safety staff. He also advised the officials to focus on intensifying the inspections.
