Warangal: Panchayat raj minister Dr Danasari ‘Seethakka’ Anasuya on Tuesday unveiled bus services to Narismhasagar of Mangapet mandal at Eturnagaram bus stand here in Mulugu district.
The minister travelled in the bus along with co-passengers by availing a free ticket under the Maha Lakshmi scheme introduced by the Congress government.
Later, she directed the district collector and RTC officials to prepare a proposal to develop bus stands at Eturnagaram and in the district headquarters of Mulugu as model establishments.
After assuming charge as panchayat raj minister, Dr Seethakka had asked RTC officials to start the bus service to her native place Jaggannapeta which had a proper road.
Responding to her request, RTC officials started the new bus service to Jaggannapeta village and thus fulfilled a long-lasting dream of the villagers.
