Telangana transport dept employee terminated for consuming alcohol in office
Hyderabad: The Transport department here on Wednesday terminated the services of an outsourcing employee E. Suresh and blacklisted him from entering any organization in future for consuming alcohol at the government office.
Transport Commissioner Buddha Prakash Jyoti said a police complaint was being filed against Suresh for consuming alcohol in government office and in addition to another complaint against two RTA agents Madhu and Sadik for entering the office premises with alcohol and handing it over to Suresh.
According to the Transport Commissioner, charges are being framed against the MV/DTO Mohd.Ghouse Pasha and other employees working in the office of the DTO, Mahabubabad for dereliction of duties and for violation of conduct rules.
A process of listing out all outsourcing employees, who had completed more than three years in the same office, was being carried out for changing their place of work.
He said such irregularities would not be tolerated at any cost in future and stern action would be taken against government and outsourcing employees of the Transport Department for committing any such irregularities.
