Seven Bangladeshi Nationals Detained for Illegal Stay in Hyderabad
During the investigation, it was revealed that they had entered India illegally and had been living in a rented house. Acting on specific information, police conducted a raid on the premises and took all seven persons into custody.

HYDERABAD: Jeedimetla police arrested seven Bangladeshi nationals, allegedly residing illegally in the city without valid travel documents, during a special operation conducted in the HAL area of Gajularamaram–Jeedimetla limits. Acting on a tip-off, Jeedimetla Inspector Mallesh Babu and team raided the rented house, where the Bangladeshi nationals were allegedly staying unlawfully and took them into custody.
During questioning, police found that seven of the detained individuals, including four women and three men did not possess valid passports, visas or any other travel documents authorising their stay in India. Preliminary investigation reportedly revealed that the individuals had entered India illegally and had been residing in different parts of the country in violation of immigration laws.
Police said the operation was carried out under the supervision and instructions of Qutbullapur zone deputy commissioner of police and IPS officer N. Koti Reddy.
The seven Bangladeshi nationals are being shifted to the deportation centre at Jogipet in Medak district, where they will remain until legal formalities and verification procedures are completed for deportation. Personnel from the Kukatpally special operations team participated in the operation.
