ADILABAD: Roads were badly affected due to heavy rains and subsequent floods at various places in Adilabad district, leading to enormous difficulties for citizens.
Many people were seen struggling to walk on the slush-filled roads. People of interior tribal areas have been facing difficulties due to lack of road connectivity. Several breaches on roads and bridges at many places have worsened the situation.
Road connectivity was badly affected in Gadiguda, Narnoor, Bela, Indravelli, Sirikonda mandals in Adilabad district.
Waterlogging was seen at many places in the tribal areas. Adivasis appealed to officials to restore road connectivity and clear the stagnated water for vehicle movement.
