Speeding lorry rammed into a roadside vegetable sellers
Vikarabad: Several persons killed and more than 10 others sustained injuries after a speeding lorry rammed into a roadside vegetable sellers on Hyderabad- Bijapur Highway near Aloor gate in Chevella of Vikarabad district on Monday.
According to the initial media reports, there were 50 vendors selling vegetables along the roadside. Upon seeing the speeding lorry many of them attempted to flee but the vehicle crashed into the crowd before coming to a stop after colliding with a tree. The impact was so severe that the tree was uprooted and the lorry's driver trapped inside the cabin. More details are awaited.
