Hyderabad: In a political slugfest over Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s US tour, minister Konda Surekha lashed out at BRS leaders, charging that K.T. Rama Rao had acted like a shadow CM when BRS was in power and signed MoUs with bogus companies.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Surekha charged that BRS leaders had looted the state indiscriminately and sought to know why Rama Rao kept going to the US frequently.
Listing out how the BRS government had entered into fake MoUs with bogus companies, Surekha said that Dhatri Bio Silicon is also a bogus company. All the commercial deals carried out during the BRS rule involved huge kickbacks, she said.
Stating that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was working with the mission of putting the state economy back on track, and making relentless efforts to attract investments into the state, Surekha said that the BRS leaders looted lakhs of crores in the name Kaleshwaram, Mission Kakatiya, Dalit Bandhu and Mission Bhagiratha projects.
