HYDERABAD: Union home minister Amit Shah has reiterated the Narendra Modi government's commitment to ensuring an equitable share for Backward Classes (BCs) across various sectors, said BC Welfare Association leader and BJP Rajya Sabha MP R. Krishnaiah. Shah said that all genuine demands of the community would be addressed in a phased manner, Krishnaiah after meeting him in New Delhi.
The association leader stated that he had submitted a petition urging the creation of a separate ministry for BCs and the establishment of a national corporation for the community to provide subsidised loans to artisans.
