Heavy Winds Wreak Havoc In Sircilla, Power Disrupted
Residents expressed concern about several old, weak trees in the locality and urged officials to remove them to prevent such incidents from recurring.

Rajanna Sircilla: A sudden windstorm created panic in the district headquarters of Rajanna Sircilla, Telangana, as strong winds caused extensive damage in several parts of Sircilla town on Friday.
In the Shantinagar area in the town, a massive windstorm severely damaged houses, leaving the residents in a state of panic, after a tin shed from the top of a nearby building collapsed onto an adjacent house. The debris fell inside the home, and one person reportedly sustained injuries in the incident.
In another incident, a huge tree was uprooted and fell onto overhead electricity lines. Due to the force of the impact, an electric pole snapped, and the transformer mounted on it also crashed to the ground, leading to power cuts in the area. Authorities said this has caused major damage to the power infrastructure, and restoration work may take considerable time.

Due to the heavy gust of wind, a power line fell directly onto a car parked nearby in one area. Fortunately, the person inside the vehicle escaped unharmed, leaving the residents relieved. Following the incident, power supply to the entire area was completely disrupted. The fallen trees and damaged electrical infrastructure also caused minor traffic disruptions along the route.
Sircilla police personnel and the electricity and municipal department officials rushed to the spot immediately and are currently supervising relief and restoration operations.
